Two rounds to go and 6 games of football left on the schedule to decide the teams' fates in Group B. AFC Shooters would take to the field for their final fixture against an FC Poloboc team who had a game in hand.

It was now or never for AFC Shooters. They were currently level with FC Tpaktop but they had to finish above them to avoid elimination. The CIS team would have two games to then beat whatever target AFC Shooters set. However, AFC Shooters would have the unenviable task of having to take something from the league leaders who had a 100% record.

If FC Poloboc could take victory here they would guarantee their Cup qualification with a game to spare. Leonid Cigureanu had been on target in every game so far for the Moldovans and he continued his run by opening the scoring in this one here. Victor Zagorneanu scored 5 goals at the 2023 Barcelona Veterans and he took his tally to 2 goals in Prague as he doubled FC Poloboc's lead to 2-0.

Neil Adebowale then scored to reduce the deficit to 2-1 to keep themselves in the game. FC Poloboc re-established the two goal lead when Leonid Cigureanu was on target again. Ion Bogza made it 4-1 before Leonid Cigureanu completed his hat-trick to take his tally to the day to 9. FC Poloboc eased away from AFC Shooters as Veaceslav Ganta scored twice to complete the scoring at 7-1.

World Pinteur versus The A Team would be our final France v France encounter in Group B. The A Team were currently in pole position to take the second Cup qualification spot. They were two points ahead of World Pinteur. They were level with Les 5 Salopards but had a game in hand on them. If The A Team could win this match they would be hot favourites to reach the Cup. World Pinteur could change that equation with a win of their own.

World Pinteur started off very quickly taking 6 points from a possible 6 at the start of the day but since then had taken just 1 from the last 6 available. However, in the last game they battled back twice to take a point so they were fighting hard. The team's fortunes had mirrored that of Eric Lemoisson in front of goal. He'd scored three in those opening two games but not since. It was therefore a welcome sight for World Pinteur to see him in the goals again as he put his team 1-0 up.

World Pinteur moved further ahead and it was Eric Lemoisson again who took his tally to 5 goals for the tournament. At 2-0 World Pinteur were in control but the game was not won just yet. Fateh Bekhouche scored his third goal of the day to reduce the deficit to 2-1. If The A Team could force a draw it would be damaging to World Pinteur as they only had FC Poloboc to come. However, the equalizer was not forthcoming as World Pinteur had enough in the tank to see out the game. It was a fine victory for World Pinteur and the race for the second Cup qualification space was blown wide open.
