It was becoming crunch time in Group A for the teams to begin their final push for Cup or Plate qualification. FC Tpaktop I were on Pitch A first in what would be their final fixture. If they could win it they would go level with FC Mahou and Alea IActa Est on 12 points but both those teams would have two games in hand so it was unlikely FC Tpaktop I could reach the Cup especially as their rivals still had to play each other. However, FC Tpaktop I could clinch third position and give them a preferential knock-out draw playing 6th position in the other group in the Quarter-Finals.

Their opponents were AC Motxto International who could still finish third themselves with a win here and then again in their final fixture. Neither team needed to look over their shoulders as they were pretty much assured of Plate qualification, they were now just jockeying for position.

AC Motxto had fallen behind in all of their previous 4 games and it was remarkable they'd remained unbeaten for 3 of those 4 matches. However, falling behind can take a mental toll especially if you're unable to recover the situation and especially if you're falling behind to top quality teams. They were unable to recover against FC Mahou last time out and they were unable to recover against FC Tpaktop I here. Goals from Albert Atuliev and Mohammed Brett were sufficient to see FC Tpaktop I collect their 4th victory from 6 games.

In Game 17 of Group A, FC Mahou's commanding victory saw them return to the top of the table. FC Mahou entered the match joint top of the table with 12 points, holding a perfect win record. A single point was needed to secure their qualification for the Cup. Their opponents, Mitre FC Vets, were in 7th position but still had hopes of qualifying for the Plate. FC Mahou delivered a stunning performance, defeating Mitre FC Vets 9-0 and opening up a 3 point lead at the top.

The game kicked off with FC Mahou quickly asserting dominance. Steve Sachro opened the scoring and shortly after added his second goal. Oliver James then found the net twice, followed by a goal from Peter Cox, making it 5-0. Sachro completed his hat-trick soon after with Cox scoring again to further extend the lead. Shaun Gurney and Oliver James, completing his own hat-trick, rounded off the scoring spree, resulting in a comprehensive 9-0 victory for FC Mahou.

FC Mahou's dominant display underscored their strong form and title aspirations. This emphatic win not only secured FC Mahou's place in the Cup and opened up a lead at the top of the table but also maintained their 100% record and significantly boosted their goal difference. Meanwhile, Mitre FC Vets remained 1 point away from Plate qualification, but their goal difference suffered heavily from this defeat which may yet be crucial. Mitre FC Vets would need to regroup quickly before their final group game.

Game 18 of Group A had vital significance at the foot of the table for Plate qualification. It was IFC Prague versus Southgate Tourists. At kick-off the teams were separated by just one point with Southgate Tourists ahead in the pecking order. A win for either would assure the victor of Plate qualification. The loser would be in a battle with Mitre FC Vets to avoid elimination. A draw would keep all 3 teams in the mix.

IFC Prague had come into the game on the back of a 7-0 defeat and it was some turnaround as they swung from resounding defeat to comprehensive win. Adam Johnson was the main man at the start of this game as two early goals put IFC Prague 2-0 up. Tim Bointon made it 3-0 before Southgate Tourists could reply to make it 3-1. Adam Johnson's hat-trick goal made it 4-1 before Rupert Baltrock made it 5-1. Adam Johnson definitely had his shooting boots on as his fourth of the game made it 6-1. Southgate Tourists pulled one back for 6-2 but Adam Johnson was on target again for his fifth of the match.

It was a sensational result, not just the victory but the margin of victory. IFC Prague had guaranteed their place in the Plate. Southgate Tourists had now played all their fixtures and currently sat in the final Plate qualification place. They would have to wait for the result of Mitre FC Vets final game to see if their tournament would continue.
