On
a glorious summer's day we had an amazing day
of football to enjoy and when the referee blew
the final whistle in the Cup Final it was Foot
130 A who emerged victorious. They'd battled
with Mitre FC A in the group phase and then
again in the Cup Final but ultimately they had
enough quality to take the title. This was their
second title in 11 months having won the 2023
Amsterdam Fives. Mitre FC A had won the 2023
Barcelona Fives Plate and now had a Cup runners-up
finish on their eurofootballfives.com CV.
In
the Plate competition it was Fylde FC Old Boys
who emerged victorious. They lost the 2017 Krakow
Trophy Plate Final on penalties but this time
were on the winners' side as they defeated Moles
Salah B in the final. This was a second runners-up
finish for Moles Salah as they were in the Trophy
competition at the 2022 Lisbon Tournament. Third
time lucky for them at their next European final?
For
the individual honours, Rodrigue Atikossie (Foot
130 A) and Sam Pagano (Mitre FC A) finished
level at the top of the goal scoring charts
with an impressive 15 goals each.
Well
done to everyone for an amazing day of competition
and thank you to all teams who participated
and played the tournament in such a great spirit
and atmosphere. We hope to see you all again
soon.
