For
FCRK, the day started on a challenging note
with a 3-0 loss in their first game. The second
match saw them face Foot 130 A, a team coming
off an electrifying 4-4 draw in their opener.
From
the outset in this match, Foot 130 A demonstrated
their dominance on the field. Sebastian Thomas
set the tone with an early goal, swiftly followed
by a brace from Rodrigue Atikossie. Antoine
Borrel added to FCRK's woes with another goal,
taking the score to a commanding 4-0. Basile
de Fontenay then showcased his scoring prowess
by netting a brace, pushing the lead to an overwhelming
6-0.
FCRK,
however, refused to go down without a fight.
In a moment of resilience, Moses Kang managed
to breach Foot 130 A's defence, scoring a consolation
goal to make it 6-1. But Foot 130 A had the
final say in this one-sided encounter, with
Basile de Fontenay completing the scoring spree
with his hat-trick goal, sealing a resounding
7-1 victory.
Despite
the scoreline, FCRK's determination and sportsmanship
shone through, while Foot 130 A's clinical performance
set them apart as a formidable force in the
tournament.
