Round
4 of Group A began with FCRK versus Fylde FC Old
Boys in action again. Struggling at the bottom
of the standings after three consecutive defeats,
FCRK faced a formidable challenge against Fylde
FC Old Boys. Fylde, in third place and just one
point behind the league leaders, entered the match
with the chance to leap to the top of the table
with a third win of the day.
The
match kicked off with Fylde FC Old Boys quickly
establishing their dominance. Nathaniel Smithies
opened the scoring early, giving Fylde a 1-0 lead.
Smithies, in exceptional form, soon doubled their
advantage with his fifth goal of the tournament,
making it 2-0. Liam Errington further extended
the lead to 3-0, leaving FCRK with a steep hill
to climb.
Despite
the daunting scoreline, FCRK showed resilience.
Kyoungtae Choi managed to pull one back for FCRK,
making it 3-1 and giving his team a glimmer of
hope. However, Fylde's attacking prowess was too
much to handle. Liam Errington scored his second
goal of the match, restoring Fylde's three-goal
cushion and sealing a convincing 4-1 victory.
With
this win, Fylde FC Old Boys ascended to the top
of the table, now leading by two points. FCRK,
despite their efforts, remained in sixth place,
still searching for their first points of the
tournament.

Game
12 of Group A was Spider Mans & Eagle versus
Mitre FC A. Spider Mans & Eagle entered their
match in 5th place, needing a victory to bolster
their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage.
Mitre FC A, aiming to keep pace with Foot 130
A and Fylde FC Old Boys at the top of the table,
were unbeaten with two wins and a draw.
Mitre
FC A wasted no time asserting their dominance
as they quickly took a 2-0 lead early in the match.
Sam Pagano added a third goal to make it 3-0,
showcasing their attacking prowess. Joseph Atunrase
extended Mitre FC A's lead to 4-0, putting them
firmly in control. The momentum continued as Mitre
FC A scored their fifth goal to put the result
beyond doubt.
Despite
the scoreline, Spider Mans & Eagle fought
back with determination. Warren Whitmore scored
two goals, his third and fourth of the tournament,
bringing some consolation as Spider Mans reduced
the deficit to 5-2. However, Mitre FC A's early
lead proved insurmountable, and the match ended
with a final score of 5-2 in favor of Mitre FC
A.
Mitre
FC A joined Foot 130 A at the top of the table
with 10 points, although they remained second
on goal difference. Spider Mans & Eagle remained
in 5th place with a chance to qualify for the
Plate competition but needing favours from others.
