DHL Prague Red kicked off Group D against Dynamo Fucdarest. The Czech team were regulars in eurofootballfives.com tournaments with 3 Plate Finals under their belts (1 win in the 2008 Barca Fives, 2 Runners-Up in the 2008 Prague Trophy and 2010 Krakow Trophy). Their greater experience may well have told as they took on debutants from Leeds , Dynamo Fucdarest. DHL Prague Red grabbed two early goals from Rupert Baltrock and Dan Finlay. They held their 2-0 lead into half-time and full-time to wrap up the points. Dynamo Fucdarest whilst gaining no points will have gained experience to take into their remaining three group games.

Game 2 saw the 2007 Prague Masters champions Kehar Club begin their campaign. Since 2007 they have not been able to emulate their victory but are still a team to be reckoned with after finishing runner up twice (2008 and 2009 Prague Trophy) and also reaching a Cup Semi-Final (2009 Prague Masters). They played the New Camps in the opening fixture and the English side held their own in an even first half which finished 0-0. The gathered crowds were treated to goals in the second half and four of them. The Kehar Club claimed the majority to collect a 3-1 victory as Martin Sekerka, Jan Rakosnik and Martin Drunecki powered Kehar Club to all 3 points. Neil Lidstone grabbed the goal for the New Camps.

The final team to begin their 2010 Prague Masters challenge was Deportivo – the team from Prague with a Latin American flavour. They were playing DHL Prague Red who were looking to build upon their opening game victory. The game started off in favour of Deportivo as former DHL Prague player Leo Echeverria put his new team 1-0 up. In the second half Echeverria scored his second of the game to double the advantage. Deportivo then went from strength to strength as Javier Acosta made it 3-0 and then captain Miguel Lasso made it 4-0. A great start for Deportivo as they hit top spot in Group D.

Dynamo Fucdarest were back in action looking to avenge opening game defeat as they took on first game victors Kehar Club. It was going to be another tough game for Dynamo and they found themselves 2-0 down again at the break as Martin Drazan and Jan Rakosnik goals put Kehar Club in command. Dynamo Fucdarest fought back in the second half and they scored their first goals of the tournament through Jagbir Birring and Randeep Bhogal. It would not be quite enough to claim a point though as Martin Drunecky's second goal in as many games meant the three points were going to the Czech team's account. Kehar Club moved onto 6 points and the lead in Group D. Dynamo Fucdarest were improving and getting closer to their first points of the day.

The New Camps had drawn former champions Kehar Club in their first game and looked to have an equally tough game for their second fixture as they took on Deportivo. Deportivo had scored four without reply against DHL Prague Red already. This was to be a feat they repeated in each half against the New Camps to claim the biggest win in Group D. Leo Echeverrie scored the first and last goals of the game with another in between to claim a hat-trick and his 5 th goals in 2 games marking him as a contender for the tournament's golden boot prize. There were also goals for Andres Caballero, Jesus Castillo (2), Miguel Lasso and Jorge Barreu. Deportivo jumped back to the top of the table and were looking the team to beat in Group D. The New Camps still had the Plate to aim for with two games to go.
