The next game in Group B saw the top teams do battle. A win now would guarantee Cup qualification whereas defeat would leave work to do in the final fixture. A draw would edge both teams closer to the Cup qualification mark. Neither team looked like playing for a draw though and we saw Lozenetz City edge a competitive first half 2-1. Atanas Minev scoring both goals for the defending champions to outgun the strike from Daniel O'Reagan. The second half saw the team from Bulgaria stretch their lead to 3-1 as Minev completed the first hat trick in Group B. When Bojidar Gorchev made it 4-1 the scoring was complete. Lozenetz City had now won 13 out of 13 group games in eurofootballfives competitions in 2010. They were on the march again.

Game 7 of Group B saw Ireland 's Dot Cotton's Flaps take on the local Czech team with a heavy Ireland flavour- Molly's FC. With two narrow defeats, Dot Cotton's Flaps were looking to convert their performances into points. They met a Molly's FC team that had a chance to go joint second in the table. It looked like being another narrow defeat for Dot Cotton's Flaps as Martin Beman gave Molly's FC a 1-0 half time lead. From there they eased sway from their opponents to round off an impressive 4-0 victory thanks to another goal from Beman and two from Paul Smith. Molly's FC had a great chance of making the Cup but their last fixture was an ominous one… Lozenetz City

The Bernabeu Butchers went into game 8 of the group, and their third game, looking for their first points. Masters of the Pooniverse would be no pushovers though, particularly as they had 6 points already on the board. Masters of the Pooniverse were under pressure from Molly's FC for second place and needed to win this game to make the Cup and hope Molly's FC failed to beat Lozenetz City . The first part of the equation was looking more difficult when games from James Halliday and Allan Farmer helped Bernabeu Butchers to a 2-1 half time lead. James Whitehead's third of the day kept the Pooniverse in the hunt and although he added another in the second period it would not be enough to earn them points. Tom Rigby and Tom Gingell goals in the second half earned Bernabeu Butchers a 4-2 win, 3 points and a commanding position to make the Plate. Masters of the Pooniverse would sweat on the result of the Lozenetz City Vs Molly's FC to see if they had done enough to make the cup.

They would not have to wait long as the game was next up on pitch B. Masters of the Pooniverse, due to goal difference, needed Lozenetz City to win by 6 goals to go through. Molly's FC would naturally need to avoid this. At half time they must have been sweating as Atanas Minev and then Tsoni Petrov put Lozenetz City 2-0 up. Martin Beman eased their worries when he pulled a goal back to make it 2-1. When Lubos equalized at 2-2 they were safe. In the end it was an entertaining 2-2 draw and both teams would make the final 8 elite teams in the 2010 Prague Masters Cup Competition. Masters of the Pooniverse now knew they would play in the Plate.

The only thing left to decide would be the second Plate qualification place and who would be chasing the Wooden Spoon in the afternoon knock out phase. The match would see Dot Cotton's Flaps meet Bernabeu Butchers with the Irish team needing to win by 2 goals to leapfrog their opponents into fourth place. They got off to the perfect start as Shane Murphy and then Fiachra Hartnett put them 2-0 up at the break. Bernabeu Butchers now had to score- which they did with Tom Rigby's second in consecutive games. Fiachra Hartnett added a second goal but the crucial goal in deciding thee teams fates in the tournament was James Halliday's. This goal ensured Dot Cotton's Flaps would only win 3-2 falling one goal short of their target. Bernabeu Butchers made the Plate by one goal on goal difference. It was cruel for Dot Cotton's Flaps but they would take their place in the Wooden Spoon playoffs.
