Group C of the 2010 Prague Masters allowed us our first glimpse of Olypic Phil Babb. The Phil Babb squad were entering their third eurfootballfives tournament and were aiming to be the first team to win three of our events and maintain 100% tournament success record. The 2008 Amsterdam Fives and 2009 Algarve Open winners' first opponents were FC Xaverov. FC Xaverov represented the Czech Republic and were making their debut in eurfootballfives.com competitions. They could not have been given a more difficult baptism. In the first half they played well but could not prevent James Cooper giving Olympic Phil Babb a 1-0 lead. In the second half James Cooper helped himself to two more goals, a hat trick and a 3-0 win for his team.

JNJ Global Services were no strangers to eurofootballfives action with 3 appearances already under their belt ( Prague twice and Krakow ). The zenith of their achievements to date is two Plate Semi-Finals in the 2009 Prague Trophy and 2010 Krakow Trophy. They would kick off against debutants Ken Dodd's Diddy Men. The first half went the way of JNJ as Martin Kolmhofer and Josef Salater put them 2-1 up at the break. Barry Cole was the scorer of the Diddy Men's goal. He added a second later in the game but it would be in vain in terms of points as JNJ's Wilco Velohuizen scored the decisive goal in the match. The game ended 3-2 and the 3 points went to JNJ Global services.

Meal Machine were the only team in Group C yet to kick off….but not for long. They made their debut against local team FC Xaverov. There was not much between the teams in the opening period with a goal each from Meal Machine's Julian Perdikou and FC Xaverov's Michal Predikant locking the teams level at 1-1. On a day where hat tricks were prevalent, Predikant went on to complete a hat trick for himself. There was also a goal for Stanislav Klco as the Czech's took the second half honours. The final score of 4-1 pushed FC Xaverov into mid table. Meal Machine had plenty of time left to pick up their first points.

Game four in Group C saw two opening game winners meet in the form of Olympic Phil Babb and JNJ Global Services. We saw a glut of goals in the first half with Olympic Phil Babb claiming the lion's share. They shared the goals around as Martin Hinks, Alex Woolston, James Batty and Will Smith each found the net. Jakub Salatek got himself on the scoresheet but at 4-1 down JNJ Global Services had a mountain to climb. In the second half they continued o battle and held their opponents to a goal less period. Olympic Phil Babb claimed victory number 2 and their title challenge was nicely on course.

Ken Dodd's Diddy Men and Meal Machine were both looking to break their point's duck in game 5. It was advantage Diddy Men when they scored first through Barry Cole. Cole was in fine goal scoring form as he added a second to make it 4 goals in 2 games for him. Ben Clissold opened his personal account and they were looking good for victory. They didn't have it all their own way though as Simon Ames scored for Meal Machine. The goal ultimately proved to be a consolation though as Ken Dodd's Diddy men notched up their first victory, 3-1.
