Los Pibes came into Round 2 now with their full squad at the venue – they would hope they would not rue that slow start in Round 1 that saw them slip to a 2-0 defeat. Their opponents would be The Average Joes who had also suffered defeat first time out. Could either of these teams pick-up their first win of the day?

It started well for the Spanish team as Los Pibes opened up a 2-0 lead in the first half. Rodrigo Palacio got them off to the perfect start before Agustin Luis Castro doubled the lead.

After the break the floodgates opened as Rodrigo Palacio made it 3-0 before Matias Nicolas Estay made it 4-0. Rodrigo Palacio bagged his hat-trick for 5-0 and Christian Lambert hit a double for 7-0. Just when it looked like it couldn't get any worse for The Average Joes an own goal completed the scoring for 8-0. It was disappointment for The Average Joes but they still had 3 games remaining to stake their claim in this tournament.

For Los Pibes it was a stunning win and would prove to be the third biggest victory of the day – they had fully arrived at the 2016 Mallorca Tournament.

The final game of Round 2 was Big Wille's against Bede FC. Big Wille's had picked up their 3-0 walkover win in Round 1 and so this would be the first time we got to see them in action on the field of play. They would be up against Bede FC.

Big Wille's were on debut for the mostpart but they did have a player with previous eurofootballfives.com experience in their ranks – Olly Housden. He had been part of the Olympic Phil Babb squad that played here in the 2012 Mallorca Tournament. Maybe that experience put him in good stead for the 2016 tournament as he bagged a hat-trick in this game.

Andy Roberts, ever-present in all 6 of Bede FC's European adventures, scored for Bede FC in the first half but his goal could not prevent Big Wille's leading 3-1 at the break.

After the break Big Wille's extended the lead to 4-1 to secure victory. As well as Olly Housden's hat-trick there was a goal for Chris Boniface to celebrate.
