Round 3 started with JNJ High Wycombe Warriors as they were the first of the three teams at the top of Group C with a chance to open up a lead over their nearest challengers. Their opposition were the JNJ Belgium Fun Team who were without a goal and without a point yet so JNJ High Wycombe Warriors would fancy their chances.

The form book can often lie and teams at the foot of the table spring a surprise on those at the top. This was not the case on this occasion and the form book was perfectly correct. Alex Woodger got the ball rolling to maintain his record of scoring in every game before Delroy Howell and Rob Buckland increased the lead to 3-0 by the break.

Half time came and went but the pattern of play remained the same as Delroy Howell bagged his second of the game and then Paul Lynch opened his personal account to make it 5-0. It was a fine win for JNJ High Wycombe Warriors who lead by 3 points but JNJ Russia B and JNJ Wuppertal A still had a game in hand.

JNJ Russia B and JNJ Wuppertal A met head to head in the next game and the pressure was on with the English team from High Wycombe winning in the previous match. Only a win would be good enough to maintain a presence at the top of the table. A draw would not be the end of the world but leave them with work to do. The worst possible result was a defeat that would see the losers lose ground.

It was JNJ Wuppertal A who took the lead through Oliver Droscher. It was the third game in a row where the German team had taken the lead – first time out they held on for victory, second time out they were pegged back for a draw. They did concede again as Maxim Zilberman scored for JNJ Russia B but for the first time today JNJ Wuppertal A scored a second goal as Volker Elgert found the net. Elgert's goal proved to be the winner as JNJ Russia B could not find the elusive equalizer. Final score, 2-1 to JNJ Wuppertal A.

The German team joined JNJ High Wycombe Wanderers at the top of the table. JNJ Russia B had lost ground but were only 3 points off top with two games to go so they still had much to play for.

The final game in Group C, Round 3 was Slavoj Consumer versus GBS Reds A in an all-Czech encounter. Both teams had started off with a defeat and both teams had collected their first points in the last game. Slavoj Consumer earned a draw and GBS Reds A were rampant in their 8-0 demolition of the Belgium Fun Team. The teams currently sat in 4th and 5th place but there was a chance to surge up the table with 3 points here.

There was very little between the two teams and in an evenly contested match it was perhaps fitting the teams finished level at 1-1. Daniel Lemer scored his first of the day for Slavoj Consumer whilst Josef Salatek's third goal of the day for GBS Reds A ensured parity at full time.

The draw worked better for GBS Reds A as they moved onto 4 points and a share of third place. Slavoj Consumer had played very well so far but only had 2 points as they sat in 5th position – they needed to turn their performances into points as draws were holding them back in Group C.
