Round 2 began with JNJ High Wycombe Warriors against JNJ Wuppertal A. Both teams had started off with a victory so would enter this game on a high. If either team could grab a second victory in this fixture they would be in command of Group C and open up a 3 point gap at the top.

 

It was JNJ Wuppertal A who took the early advantage when Cristovao Mendes Fernandes scored for the second game in a row to give the German team a 1-0 lead at half-time. All eyes were on JNJ High Wycombe Warriors to see if they could get back into the game and indeed they could as it was Alex Woodger's turn to score for the second game in a row. His goal leveled things up at 1-1 and that's how it finished.

 

The draw meant both teams enjoyed the lead of Group C on 4 points. Only time would tell if this was 1 point gained or 2 points dropped.

 
 
 

Next up was JNJ Belgium Fun Team against GBS Reds A. Round 1 of fixtures was not much fun for either side as they both suffered defeat. This was a chance to kickstart their campaign with a win and put opening defeat behind them.

 

It was GBS Reds A who, like a wounded beast, roared back into life and the Belgium Fun Team ended up being mauled like a stricken gazelle. There was no mercy shown by GBS Reds A as they scored four goals in each half to rack up the biggest win of the day so far, 8-0.

 

Wilco Veldhuizen started the rout before Josef Salatek made it 2-0. It was Veldhuizen again for 3-0 before Marco Lepee made it 4-0. In the second half Salatek scored his second of the game, Lepee scored twice to complete his hat-trick before Anis Kateb completed the scoring.

 
 
 

JNJ Russia B were next in action as they looked to make it two wins out of two and make it to the top of Group C. Their opposition was Slavoj Consumer who performed well in the first game of the group with no reward for their efforts. They would be looking for better luck this time.

 

It was the Russian team who struck first though as Denis Dezhin's second goal of the tournament put them in charge by the break. If they could maintain the lead until full time they would be the Group C leaders. Slavoj Consumer had other ideas though as Martin Panzner scored their first goal of the day to equalize. The final score was 1-1 and the draw meant 1 point each.

 

JNJ Russia B joined JNJ Wuppertal A and JNJ High Wycombe at the top on 4 points although they led by goal difference. Slavoj Consumer had their first point and were up and running.
