We
had to apologise to Rayford Athletic who due
to Scandittack FC's cancellation had waited
until Round 2 to get their 2015 Berlin Fives
campaign off and running on the field of play.
They would do so against a Fail Madrid team
looking to bounce back from opening game defeat.
In
the first half both teams would score their
first eurofootballfives.com goals – Graham Hargreaves
with the honour for Fail Madrid and Ross Bennett
for Rayford Athletic. At half-time the teams
were level pegging at 1-1.
The
second half would decide the destination of
the points. Andrew Key scored what the Americans
would call the “go-ahead” goal to make it 2-1
to Rayford Athletic and the points were safe
when Andrew Key scored again to make it 3-1.
The
victory meant that Rayford Athletic were flying
high in the table whilst Fail Madrid were in
4th position.
