With their first games under their belts it was Round 2 for all the teams in Group A and time to settle in to the tournament.

Tommie's Guns made their debut at the 2014 Bratislava Fives. They drew a tough group that featured 2014 Budapest Fives and eventual 2014 Bratislava Fives winners CIS Committee of Belarus. It also featured a Fireball team that finished joint top of their group at the 2015 Bratislava Fives and a Spider Mans & Eagle team that have reached the Cup Semi-Finals at the 2015 Budapest Fives. They went on to the Trophy competition where they defeated The Never Tarps 3-0 in the QF before a 7-3 defeat to Ziar Crew (who won the Trophy) in the SF.

Tommie's Guns were next in action against Coole Wampe looking for their first win of the tournament. They had already lost to one host nation team and would hope to put that right here – it wasn't to be though. Coole Wampe opened the scoring through Dominik Flegar and then extended their lead through Konstantin Kausch to lead 2-0 at half-time.

The German team were looking good having won their first game, were scoring freely and were yet to concede a goal. They continued that trend into the second half as Dominik Flegar went on to complete a hat-trick and there was a first goal of the day for Jan Klette. Coole Wampe were leading the way in Group A and looking on fine form.

Next up on Pitch B was Pink Flamingos A versus Hangover 96 . For the second game in Round 2 we had a first round victor versus a first round losing team. In the previous match we saw the victor keep up a 100% record and Pink Flamingos A would hope to emulate the feat of Coole Wampe to join them at the top of Group A.

Like Coole Wampe, Pink Flamingos A had that perfect combination of scoring goals freely at one end whilst keeping things tight at the back. Karl Gumbrell scored a hat-trick in the last game and he continued his goal-scoring touch into this fixture to give Pink Flamingos A the lead. It was a lead they would not relinquish and extended their lead to 2-0 at half time with a second Karl Gumbrell goal.

There was no way back in the second half for Hangover 96 as Pink Flamingos A were resolute in defence and the men in pink extended their advantage to 3-0 when Joe Maskell bagged his first goal of the day. Final score, 3-0.

To complete Round 2 we had Coverton Road versus FC Auslander. This completed the theme of Round 2 whereby we saw first game victors taking on a losing team from Round 1. Thus far things had gone the way of the first round victors and a gap was opening between those at the top and those at the bottom. A second win for FC Auslander would make this very much a two-tier group.

Coverton Road would clearly be determined for that not to happen and a win for them would see them join their opponents on 3 points and occupy the mid-table positions in Group A. The game started well for them with Tom Augarde scoring twice for the travelling team and his goals helped them to a 2-1 lead at the turnaround. A Christoph Darbouze goal – his second in as many games – kept FC Auslander in the hunt.

After the break FC Auslander drew level at 2-2 and it was Luke Porter's turn to keep up his goal per game record. The game was finely balanced but neither team could go on and score what would've been a match-winning fifth goal.

The two teams would have to settle for a point and only time would tell if this was one point gained or two points dropped.
