Los Froggies Del Patron started today well with 4 points from their first two games and although they lost to Malo Guerreros it was a good performance which just lacked goals. They were looking to return to winning ways against Deportivo Dooradoyle.

Deportivo Dooradoyle had found this morning hard going with 3 defeats albeit narrow defeats. Could this be the game that turned their fortunes around?

They might have fond memories of their opposition as they met in the Plate Quarter-Finals of the 2019 Budapest Fives. On that occasion the two teams played out a 1-1 draw before Deportivo Dooradoyle won a penalty shoot-out (2-1) to go through to the Semi-finals.

Los Froggies Del Patron opened the scoring through Kevin Payet and Richard Leibovici. At half-time things did not look good for the Irish team and they were to get even worse after the change of ends. Two Eric Lemoisson goals either side of a strike from Kevin Payet again made it 5-0 at full time.

Los Froggies Del Patron moved into third position in the table.

It was another top of the table clash for Malo Guerreros as they took on Luca Toni FC. In Round 3, Malo Guerreros had seen off Los Froggies Del Patron and were hoping to see of the Swiss in the same fashion. A win here would guarantee Cup qualification with a game to spare. Luca Toni FC might be a tougher proposition though as they came into this game on the back of a 9-0 win.

The goals just kept flowing for Luca Toni FC. This was remarkable when you think they were up against a defence that had yet to concede. Matthijs Withagen became the first man of the day to beat Matt Beacroft but the floodgates then opened. Nacho Mochales, Hector Bavarro and Mario Flores all scored before half-time to settle the result of this game early.

Two more goals from Hector Navarro after the break extended the lead to 6-0. Luca Toni FC replaced Malo Guerreros at the top of Group B and boosted their goal difference to +17. Not only that but they had sent Malo Guerreros' into negative territory. It was a brutal display from Luca Toni FC who were emerging as potential winners of this tournament.

Lindfield FC C came into Round 4 looking to recover from a 9-0 defeat and 3 losses in a row. They would have a tough ask against an RSC Andylecht team who were unbeaten in today's tournament. A couple of draws had stalled RSC's charge up the table but a win here could push them into third place and Cup qualification was still very in their own hands.

The game went with the form book and it was Jana Ranganathan who put RSC Andylecht ahead. In the second half a double from John Moore made it 3-0 and all 3 points were safely in the bank.

Going into the final round of games it was tight at the top of Group B with just 3 points separating the top 4. RSC Andylecht were well placed in third with a crucial encounter to come against Malo Guerreros above them.
