RSC Andylecht and Los Froggies Del Patron came into Round 2 on the back of good results in Round 1. The two teams would look to build on a solid platform to the day's proceedings and a win for either team would see them go top of the table.

RSC Andylecht were making eurofootballfives.com appearance #3 having debuted at the 2018 Algarve Open. In their 8-team group they recorded 4 wins, 2 draws and suffered just the one defeat. They conceded just the one goal along the way. They finished in third place in the table – one place higher than the eventual champions (9 Nana Budds). They qualified for the Cup but went out in the Quarter-Finals narrowly (1-0) to Cruz Del Sur who finished runners-up.

The Algarve was followed up with an appearance at the 2019 Amsterdam Sixes. They got off to a slow start with a 3-2 defeat to Scotland's FC Mallard but bounced back with a 2-1 win over Giggs Boson FC. They consolidated with a point from a 1-1 draw against Terrible Football (Hol) but slipped to defeat (3-1) to BabyBlauuwe Beesten (Hol). They needed a result in their final fixture and they certainly got it with a 6-0 win over Malo Guerreros to finish third in the table. Third meant qualification for the Plate where they met Switzerland's Shamrock Football Club in the Semi-Final where they exited the competition, 3-1.

Today they opened up with a draw and they were becoming early contenders for the tournament's draw specialists as they drew this one 0-0. Whilst obviously they would have wanted victory, this could well be a valuable point when we get to the business end of the group.

For Game 5 of Group B we had Malo Guerreros versus Lindfield FC C. The latter would be licking their wounds after Round 1 having suffered a heavy defeat. The former would be feeling confident after an opening victory and the chance to go top with a 2 nd win.

Lee Liquorish gave Malo Guerreros the lead in the first half as Lindfield FC must have had that sinking feeling after shipping 6 goals in their first game but they had tightened up since then. Malo Guerreros' lead was restricted to 1-0 at the break.

In the second half, Malo Guerreros doubled their advantage with Lee Liquorish scoring his second goal of the game. It was another strong defensive performance from the team as they kept a second tournament clean sheet and marched to the summit of Group B.

The game that would complete Round 2 was Deportivo Dooradoyle against Luca Toni FC.

These two teams had met before in our tournaments. At the 2017 Barcelona Fives they met in the Plate Quarter-Finals. Luca Toni FC (playing as Krakowcaine) took the lead through Abdelkader Maroe. Kevin Shine equalized for Deportivo 2.0 and then put the Irish team ahead at 2-1. Krakowcaine hit back to make it 2-2 thanks to Nacho Mochales and then Eloy Rubio scored the goal that won the game and sent Krakowcaine through, 3-2.

Only one of those goalscorers was on show today and that was Nacho Mochales. Deportivo Dooradoyle managed to shut him out here in Mallorca but Luca Toni FC had strength in depth. Hector Navarro has scored a bucket load of goals for Luca Toni FC & Saipan FC in our events over the years and he opened the scoring in this fixture. Matthijs Withagen was also on hand to score to double Luca Toni FC's lead and secure their first three points of the tournament.
