It was Game 7 of Group C and all eyes were on Intermore FC and Valejas A.C as 6th met 4th . Both teams needed the points – a win for Valejas A.C would give them some breathing space in the fourth and final knock-out qualification place. A draw would see it wide open and a win for Intermore FC would see them occupy that position.

Intermore FC had conceded three goals in the first half of each of their opening games but they had tightened up here and there was just the one goal in the first half – it went the way of the Portuguese and Rui Fale had his second of the day.

After the break Carlos Ribeirinho made it 2-0 and Intermore were chasing again. Never a good position to be in as you leave yourselves open to the killer punch at the back. Rui Fale took advantage of this and sealed a 3-0 win for Valejas A.C.

Next up was a top of the table clash as the two teams on 6 points came face-to-face. Funsport B looked a very well organized team and had been involved in some low-scoring, tight games. Sao Marcos looked a more expansive and attacking threat.

It seemed to be the Funsport B approach that was dominating and teams were level 0-0 going into the interval. After the break the Sao Marcos flair gave them the edge as they managed to outpunch their opponents largely due to the prowess of Helder Adega who now had 7 goals for the day. Rui Lopez's goal for Funsport B proving ultimately to be a consolation.

The final game of Round 3 saw St Paul's College Old Boys meet Dickie Dogs in an all-England encounter. St Paul's College Old Boys were unbeaten and so have confidence going into the game. Dickie Dogs can count themselves unlucky to be without a point following a narrow defeat last time out.

A win for St Paul's College Old Boys would see them move up into second place and they seemed hungry for goals and to win this contest early. They raced into a 4-0 lead by half-time and showed no mercy after the break putting another three past their opponents for a 7-0 win.

Lewis Howard was the chief architect of the win with 4 goals. There was a brace for Andy Reid and a goal for Nick Darke to round off the scoring. St Paul's College Old Boys were motoring and remained unbeaten – they were certainly a contender for this tournament.

Dickie Dog's search for points would go on.
