With just one point separating the top 5 teams there was plenty to play for going into Round 3. First up was Csabagyongye versus Futsal Pioes.

Futsal Pioes were second on goal difference and Csabagyongye had put opening game defeat behind them with a fine win to sit just a point behind Futsal Pioes in third position.

Futsal Pioes started the brighter in this game and it was Malakias Ramos who broke the deadlock scoring for the third game in a row. He scored not once but twice in the first half and the Portuguese were in control. After half-time, Ramos became the second man to score a hat-trick in Group A (after Anthony Allder for Lads of Lisboa) and he all but ensured victory for his team.

David Kemeny scored for Csabagyongye but he was unable to prevent his team slipping to defeat. They would stay mid-table whilst Futsal Pioes went to the top of the table – temporarily at least.

With Futsal Pioes hitting top-spot, Funsport A needed a victory to return to the Group A summit themselves. In their way stood Lads of Lisboa who could go second with a victory themselves.

Funsport A came into the game on the back of a 9-1 victory and they continued their form into the start of this game. The Portuguese were in full stride and emerging as one of the teams to watch for the title. Ivo Samoes, Hugo Jacob (2) and Hermani Beaumondo made it 4-0 by half-time. Beaumondo added a second after the break for 5-0 and it was another 3 points as they returned to the top.

Lads of Lisboa should not be too disappointed though as this was likely to be their toughest fixture and they remained in 4th place.

The final game of Round 3 saw FC Dad take on Breckland FC. The teams were in 5th and 6th place so points were crucial. FC Dad could move into 3rd place with a draw or win. A victory for Breckland FC would make it a 4-way tie for 3rd place on 3 points each.

It was first blood to Brad Swatman and Breckland FC who took a 1-0 lead into the break. Breckland FC had their first win in sight and Daniel Tickle's 3rd goal of the tournament proved to be the winner as they outgunned Stuart Leslie's strike for FC Dad.

It was a great win for Breckland FC as they made it a congested mid-table in Group B. Goal difference meant they say in 6 th still but Plate qualification was definitely in their sights.
