Group C continued with Chateau Bravado Old Boys against Bafta Boys. Chateau Bravado Old Boys had made quite a start with a 3-0 win. In theory, Bafta Boys promised to be a tougher proposition than Bede FC so this would be a stern test of their early credentials. Bafta Boys had made a solid if unspectacular start but now they'd blown away the cobwebs in the opening game could they follow this up with a win?

There did not look to be too much difference between the two teams and we reached half-time level at 0-0. This was the third successive goal-less half Bafta Boys had been involved in but this trend was to end when Joe Bardwell broke the deadlock. The 2012 Berlin Fives top goalscorer was back in the goals and his goal fired Bafta Boys to a 1-0 victory.

It was a precious victory for Bafta Boys as too many draws can seriously stunt your growth in these groups and 4 points was a much much stronger position than 2 points. Chateau Bravado Old Boys tasted defeat for the first time but there was no shame in a loss to such quality opposition. There was still plenty of time left for them to get back to winning ways.

Sao Pedro had their game in hand now and they could jump from 3rd place to 1st with a victory when they met Bede FC. Bede FC came into the game on the back of an opening game defeat – it was going to be difficult for them as they had the bare minimum 5 players due to a couple of last minute injuries pre-departure.

Sao Pedro impressed in Round 1 and they impressed again here. They took victory with a goal in each half from Oscar Teizeira and Juliano Carlos to crown a 2-0 victory and move to the top of Group C.

For Bede FC it was defeat number two but they certainly weren't outclassed and they retained 5th position.
