Wentworth Arms Athletic were enjoying their best ever start to a eurofootballfives.com tournament with 3 wins out of 3. They currently led Group B with 9 points and had one foot in the Cup. They probably only needed another point from their last two games to guarantee qualification. They would no doubt be targeting the Group B title from here which would give them a better draw in the knockout phase.

AFC Blue Boys were currently in a bad run of results. They started off brightly with a 1-0 win but since then had lost two in a row with the least defeat a heavy one (7-0). The last thing they needed at this juncture was a match against the league leaders but that's what faced them.

What was even more remarkable about Wentworth Arms Athletic's form was the fact they only had 5 players with no subs to rest and rotate. It was a great effort to date especially as they were playing an AFC Blue Boys team with a full squad of 10. Wentworth Arms Athletic were riding the crest of a wave at the moment and they went ahead in this one too. Stef Antoci bagged his fourth goal of the tournament to put the Athletic 1-0 up. Liam O'Connell was personally on a great run of personal form – he'd scored in every game to date and this match was no different. His 4 th goal of the day made it 2-0. There was a first clean sheet of the tournament for Tom Lloyd-Mead and his defence as Wentworth Arms Athletic secured their 4 th win out of 4.

The next teams in action on Pitch C were CBT FC and Average Joes. The two teams started Round 4 in 4th and 3rd positions respectively. CBT FC could move joint second with a win which would give them every chance of qualifying for the Cup going into the final round of games.

Average Joes were now 6 points off top spot but could reduce that gap to 3 points with a win here and that would also eliminate their opponents from the Cup qualification race. They would be odds on to reach the Cup if they were to win this one. The Australian team had only lost once today but that was last time out so they would aim to bounce back quickly.

Darcey Den Ouden had been Average Joes' top scorer today and he was in amongst the goals again in this match to put his side 1-0 up. CBT FC were unable to find a successful path to goal as Average Joes kept their first clean sheet of the day. CBT FC's future was looking like the Plate in this competition.

RAF Fylingdales were in some sort of weird footballing Groundhog Day. They had lost all 3 games so far all by the same score of 2-1. They had been competitive throughout but not been able to get over the line in games and, as a result, they found themselves at the foot of the table. It was not all over for Fylingdales but they needed to start getting results now.

Corner Bar were currently on a roll. They'd put first game defeat behind them and had won two on the bounce. Not only that they had scored 11 goals without reply in those two games. Although Wentworth Arms Athletic had won all 4 games, you could argue that Corner Bar were the most destructive of opposition in Group B right now.

Corner Bar made it 12 goals without reply when Ruben Martinez scored his fourth goal of the day and he had now scored in every game. RAF Fylingdales were back level though with the first goal Corner Bar had conceded in 3 games. Aaron Brookes was the man on target. Parity did not last long though as Corner Bar were back in front through Conor Kennedy.

We were naturally at the point where RAF Fylingdales were 2-1 down again for the fourth consecutive game. They may have taken that at this stage as Corner Bar were not finished scoring. Ben McCall and David Donnelly added a third and fourth as the local team ran out 4-1 victors. It was now 15 goals in 3 games for Corner Bar as they consolidated second place in the table.
