A
second half comeback became less likely when
Tom Lothian made it 4-1 and Sean Barwick made
it 5-1. Barwick would finish his team's top
goalscorer on the day with 4 goals. A comeback
of sorts did follow as Chris Galvin bagged a
second half brace to complete a hat-trick and
reduce the deficit to 5-3. It took Chris Galvin's
haul to the day to 5 goals. Alas, for Odmienowie
FC, time was against them and the referee drew
the game to a conclusion.
Congratulations
to Maverick FC who finished the day how they
would've liked to have started it and they took
the Wooden Spoon prize. Our commiserations to
Odmienowie FC who we trust had a great day at
the Krakow Trophy and also a great weekend in
this stunning Polish city.
