We began Round 4 with Fleet Street Elite 1 versus GSF Drunkerz. In the battle for the Group A title GSF Drunkerz had the opportunity to strike first and put points on the board before their rivals would take to the pitch. Only a win would see them go top.

Fleet Street Elite 1 had just secured their first goal of the day and so their first points on the board was next on the agenda. It did not start well for the English team with Jakub Mihalik putting GSF Drunkerz 1-0 up but at half-time it was only 1-0 and they were very much in striking distance of their opponents.

The second goal of a game can often be pivotal and in this fixture it swung momentum firmly in favour of the Slovakian side. Martin Volek made it 2-0 and it seemed GSF Drunkerz were heading to the top of Group A. Marek Mikolaj would ensure that would be the case when he turned home number three.

The above result meant that FC Funtime had now slipped to 3rd in the table having lead after Round 2. They had just tasted defeat for the first time but if they could get back to winning ways then they could return to the summit of Group A. In their way stood Tea Time. Tea Time had a win, a draw and a defeat to their name – a win here would keep them in the hunt for Cup qualification but defeat would mean losing ground on those above them and keep them in 4th position.

Half time came and went in this fixture and we were no closer to learning the destination of the points. Both defensive units were on top and we reached the interval all square at 0-0.

We were yet to have a goal-less game in Group A and that run would continue when the deadlock was broken in the second half. It was Borja Perez Martinez who struck for the third time in four games and gave Tea Time the lead.

Borja Perez Martinez then doubled the lead and won all three points for Tea Time who secured a fabulous 2-0 victory. They were upwardly mobile in Group A and now well positioned in 3rd position. FC Funtime had started the day superbly but were now slipping down the table.

The only thing left to settle in Round 4 was the not-so-small matter of Spider Mans & Great Hawk versus Always Short. At the start of Round 5 these teams sat in 1st position and 5th position respectively. Spider Mans & Great Hawk had seen GSF Drunkerz leapfrog above them but they could regain top spot with a win here. In fact a draw would be enough to see them go top courtesy of goal difference.

Always Short had been competitive throughout today and although they didn't quite have enough to take points in their first two games they had just recorded their first win. If they could follow that up with a second win here they would be just 2 points off top and everything to play for going into the final round of games.

The game went with the form book in the opening period and Spider Mans & Great Hawk edged it 1-0 thanks to a strike from Joe McNamara – his second of the morning.

It was a battling performance from Always Short and one that belied the four places between the teams in the group standings. Ultimately though, Always Short were unable to find the goal that would get them back into it as Spider Mans & Great Hawk kept a second clean sheet and completed a 1-0 win.

The win sent Spider Mans & Great Hawk back to the top whereas Always Short remained in 5th.
