The
above result meant that FC Funtime had now slipped
to 3rd in the table having lead after Round
2. They had just tasted defeat for the first
time but if they could get back to winning ways
then they could return to the summit of Group
A. In their way stood Tea Time. Tea Time had
a win, a draw and a defeat to their name – a
win here would keep them in the hunt for Cup
qualification but defeat would mean losing ground
on those above them and keep them in 4th position.
Half
time came and went in this fixture and we were
no closer to learning the destination of the
points. Both defensive units were on top and
we reached the interval all square at 0-0.
We
were yet to have a goal-less game in Group A
and that run would continue when the deadlock
was broken in the second half. It was Borja
Perez Martinez who struck for the third time
in four games and gave Tea Time the lead.
Borja
Perez Martinez then doubled the lead and won
all three points for Tea Time who secured a
fabulous 2-0 victory. They were upwardly mobile
in Group A and now well positioned in 3rd position.
FC Funtime had started the day superbly but
were now slipping down the table.
