After
an enforced hiatus due to the pandemic it was
great to be back in Amsterdam for the fourth edition
of the Amsterdam Sixes. We had teams representing
England, France, the Netherlands and Portugal
assembled to grace the tournament. After a hot
day off and on the field, Ball Bashers emerged
victorious to hold the cherished trophy aloft.
The
Humble Goats finished second as they were so close
to adding The Amsterdam Sixes to The Amsterdam
Sevens title they claimed just one week ago.
In
the Plate competition there was travelling success
for Freshers FC as they enjoyed a successful day
to win silverware at the third eurofootballfives.com
attempt having previously competed at our events
in Barcelona and Gdansk. They defeated Colden
Hommodore (Hol) in the final.
The
personal honours were claimed by Thomas Forster
of Dolce and Lallana who scored 9 goals on the
day.
What
a great atmosphere we had at the tournament on
what was a wonderful sporting weekend. |
