Budapest Celtic Tigers were the second squad from the Hungarian team in the tournament draw. As we saw in Group A, they entered the eurofootballfives.com fold in 2011 on home soil at the 2011 Budapest Fives with two squads. The Tigers squad lost on penalties in the Cup Final and finished Runners-Up again in 2012. Earlier this year the Tigers could not replicate the Cup form and departed at the Plate Quarter-Finals stage. Could they roar back in Krakow?

Given Red Army's opening win it looked like they would have a tough start to life in Krakow. They took to it well though and lead their opponents 1-0 at half-time courtesy of a strike from Angelo. The goals rained in after the break - for both teams.

Janek Wogel and Doug Cooke scored for the Red Army but it would be Budapest Celtic Tigers who took all 3 points as goals from Anouck Liechti, Matt Watson Broughton (2) and another from Angelo sealed victory.

It was only early days but last year's Runners-Up, Vamos, had work to do if they were going to reach that stage again. They lost their opening fixture and now had a tricky game against Krakow Team who already had three points under their belts this morning.

Sir Alex Ferguson famously talked about the sign of a good team was that it was ok to lose one but not twice and it is important how you respond to defeat. Vamos responded admirably in this one – they edged a close first half 2-1 with goals from Kryzstof Machoj and Kuba Janos. A Filip Betzak strike kept Krakow Team in the game and just a goal behind. In the second half Androj Lipcczynski made it 3-1 before Kuba Janos completed the scoring at 4-1.

We now had a very interesting group table – both first round victors had lost and so we had a four-team tie at the top of Group C.
