Saga Louts versus IFC would kick us off in Round 3. The English team had been dealt a really tough draw – The A Team, Budapest Celtic Lions and now IFC. The Polish had given the Hungarians a good run for their money so it wasn't getting easier….just less difficult!

Saga Louts gave it a good go and the first half was very close with just one goal in it. The goal went the way of IFC and was scored by Olek Talkowski. In the second half Matt Johnson scored what now seemed to be his customary goal of the game but sadly for Saga Louts it was a customary consolation.

Piotr Gyoneva and Tomasz Korpusinski both scored in the second half for IFC and they chalked up their second 3-1 win of the day as they moved into 3rd position and level on points with the A Team & Budapest Celtic Lions on 6 points. For Saga Louts the hunt for points continued.

Up next was the free-scoring A Team of France against Awiw of Poland. The French team was top of the table and they were looking to make it 3 wins out of 3 games and further their claim for the Group A title. The A Team were certainly favourites to win against a team with 1 point from 2 games.

A surprise was on the cards though as we went into half-time at 2-1…to Awiw! The Polish team had played superbly and goals from Konrad Wacker and Sebastian Bigaj had given them a sensational lead. Dydynho's 7th goal of the tournament meant The A Team were in striking distance. Could the team from Paris hit back?

Budapest Celtic Lions and IFC were watching on and just waiting for The A Team to slip up. Any dropped points here would be a great boost to their own chances. The A Team dug out an equalizer from Fateh Bekhouche but were unable to find a winner. It was a great result for Awiw and the title race was well and truly open in Group A.

If Awiw felt the draw against It's Back was 2 points dropped I am sure they would feel this fine draw was a good point gained.

The final game of Round 3 saw Budapest Celtic Lions meet It's Back. With the result above the door was open for the Hungarian team to open up a 2 point lead at the top of Group A with a victory. They should take nothing for granted though as Awiw's performance had shown and especially against an Its Back team who had just claimed their first point with a morale boosting comeback. Let's not forget It's Back have reached a Cup Semi-Final before.

Budapest Celtic Lions were looking in determined mood though and they looked like they were leaving nothing to chance. They were ruthless and efficient in their approach to this match and won both halves with a 2-0 scoreline. Neil Evans (2), Peter Roscoe and Laszlo Banka all scored as Budapest Celtic Lions made it 3 wins in 3 matches.

The Group A table was looking good for the team who had taken the bus to Krakow from Budapest. They had a 100% record and were leading the way in this group. It's Back remained in 5 th position with two games to go.
