The first game of Round 2 saw Saga Louts meet The A Team. Saga Louts had a tough start to Group A against Budapest Celtic Lions and it didn't look like things were going to get any easier this time.

The A Team already had a 7-0 win under their belts and if they could repeat that feat they would be top of Group A. Dydynho had scored a hat-trick in the opening game of Group A and he was to repeat this achievement here against the Saga Louts. His three goals put them well on the way to victory. When Fateh Bekhouche scored his first of the day it just compounded the victory.

Matt Johnson kept up his “goal per game” record for Saga Louts but sadly for him and his team it was to be another consolation in a losing cause. Saga Louts had nothing to show from their first two games – surely all games would not be as tough as these!

Game 5 of Group B was set to be a game between two first time winners as IFC of Poland met Budapest Celtic Lions of Hungary. With three points each already posted and The A Team on six points – this was shaping up to be a very important game even though it was early in the day.

The first half proved to be pretty close and there was to be just the one goal in it and that goal came from Neil Evans for the Lions. They extended the lead after the break through Heike Bult and Peter Hegedus before Piotr Gyoneva and Rafat Kimita hit back for IFC. Budapest Celtic Lions seemed to have it under control as Peter Roscoe made it 4-2 and the victory was in the bag.

The win put Budapest Celtic Lions on top of Group A with The A Team (just in second on goal difference). IFC were still in the mix despite the defeat.

To complete Round 2 we had Awiw versus It's Back. Both teams had suffered opening game defeat and both needed to get on the winning trail sooner rather than later. Awiw's defeat was a narrow one whilst It's Back's defeat had been a heavy one. Although It's Back had not won their first game they won the title of most hungover team – some teams would say they play their best football under such conditions.

Awiw forged ahead in this game as they opened up a 3-1 lead by half-time. Mohammed Dadouch scored twice and Patryk Grudzien put them in a commanding position. The highlight of the first half though was a goal from James Burrows which sparked arguably the biggest celebration of the day. Even The A Team got involved to join in with the celebrations.

That goal acted as a catalyst for a comeback with Tommy Brunt reducing arrears to 3-2 and then Jonny Amos claiming an equaliser in the dying embers for a superb 3-3 draw. It's Back were much the happier team with the point. From 3-1 up Awiw would see it as 2 points dropped.
