Match
2 saw English side Barely Athletic take on Krakow
Team. As you may have guessed, Barely Athletic
were the sister squad of Hardly Athletic playing
in Group B with many players competing in eurofootballfives.com
competition for the first time.
Krakow
Team were in the same boat 12 months ago when
they made their debut. They finished 3 rd in
their 5 team group which meant they qualified
for the Plate competition and went on to reach
the Final. They were cruising at 3-0 before
eventually missing out 4-3 to SV Zoo of Germany.
It
was a bright and breezy opening period in which
we saw three goals with Krakow Team edging it
2-1. Habib Choudhry grabbed the goal for the
visitors with Tomasz Stacknick and Rafat Bedlewicz
scoring for the local team.
In
the second half another strike from Rafat Bedlewicz
doubled the lead and secured all three points
for Krakow Team.
