Group C was really hotting up as we entered Round 4. Match 10 of the group promised to be an intriguing encounter between Leeds One and JNJ Russia. We had four teams locked on four points and these were two of them. A win for either would be a huge boost going into the final round of fixtures and in trying to secure Cup qualification.

The two team's form couldn't be more different. Leeds One started with a loss-draw-win whilst Russia had gone win-draw-loss. Momentum can go a long way in eurofootballfives.com tournaments and on that basis we thought Leeds One might edge this one. As S&OP FC, Leeds One had played Russia B in Bratislava 2014 and the Russians had won 4-1 on that occasion.

JNJ Russia looked like making it two wins in two meetings as they started the faster of the two teams. Rustam Kecherukov had scored in all four JNJ Euro Soccer Tournament's including today and he put the Russians ahead in the first half here. Maxim Yurevic doubled the lead before the break.

In the second half JNJ Russia went from strength to strength as Stanslav Martynov scored his second of the day to make it 3-0. Kecherukov's second of the game made it 4-0. Vladimir Doroshenkov scored 5 goals at the Bratislava 2014 tournament and he made it 5-0 before Yurevic completed a 6-0 win.

It was a massive blow for Leeds One in what we thought would be a tough contest. JNJ Russia despite not winning for two games had bounced back in superb style.

Cilag Team 1 were the champions elect in Group C. They came into Round 4 with a 100% record and holding a 5 point lead over their nearest challengers. They had scored 12 goals so far and conceded just 1. JNJ Middle East had just won their first game of the tournament but had a massive task if they wanted to record back-to-back victories.

A win for Cilag Team 1 would see them win Group C with a game to spare. If JNJ Middle East could pull a rabbit out of the hat they would go joint second and be in a good position to also make the Cup. It was never going to be easy though and Cilag Team 1 took the lead through Dalibor Bukovac who scored for the second game in a row. At half-time the score stood at 2-0 thanks to Samil Zujli's second goal of the tournament.

Cilag Team 1 had goals from all over the pitch with 6 of their 7 outfield players finding the back of the net today. Sopi Walmir made it 3-0 with his fifth of the day, Melis Ajavazi took his tally to 5 also with a double and Damir Ajvazi scored his third in four games. Cilag Team 1 looked an unstoppable force as they won 6-0.

The game that would take us into the final round of fixtures would be GBS Reds B versus JNJ High Wycombe B. The games between these two had been pretty close in recent seasons with GBS Reds winning this fixture 2-1 at Bratislava 2014 and JNJ High Wycombe A winning 2-1 at Budapest 2013.

As things currently stood GBS Reds B were looking for their first points of the day and JNJ High Wycombe B were on four points so you would think the English team would be favourites when the teams met today. You would be right to think so too as it was JNJ High Wycombe B who forged ahead 2-0 in the first half. Two goals from Paul Lynch helped them on their way.

Time was running out in Group C for GBS Reds B to register some points and when JNJ High Wycombe B made it 3-0 courtesy of Jamie Campbell the chances of getting anything from this game disappeared. Full-time, 3-0.

It was a great win for JNJ High Wycombe who moved into 3rd position and as things stood across the three groups that would see them and their A team both into the Cup for the first time. For GBS Reds, they were currently looking at the Wooden Spoon but had one game left to avoid that fate.
