Our
journey began in April 2007 with our first ever
Fives event in Krakow. We added Sixes tournaments
to our calendar in Amsterdam in 2017. After over
120 such events we added Sevens to our menu in
2022. Humble Goats won the 2022 and 2023 Amsterdam
Sevens and were hunting down a hat-trick of titles.
This year they could 'only' manage the Semi-Finals
as they were eliminated on penalties against WWK
DB. Some believed that would have made WWK DB
favorites but they hadn't accounted for Scoop
FC who defeated WWK DB 1-0 at the end of the group
phase and again in the Cup Final. With 2 victories
over fellow finalists there could be no doubt
that Scoop FC were worthy winners!
In
the Plate competition there was travelling success
for FNF on Tour. They were runners-up at the same
stage 12 months ago but this time went one step
further and picked up the winners medals and trophy.
They were unlucky not to have reached the Cup
as they missed out only on goal difference.
The
2024 Amsterdam Sevens will live long in the memory
with two great winners on the day.. |
