Humble Goats got off to a flyer here in 2022 with a 4-0 win over JK Silvertown and 2-0 win over Murder on Zidane's Floor. A 3-0 win over Turn Down For Watford and 2-1 win over FC Tpaktop put them in top spot with one game to go. It was a group decider against Colonel Getafe which they drew 0-0. As a result they finished second in the table on goal difference, by just the one goal. A hard fought Cup Semi-Final against City FC finished 0-0 with Humble Goats progressing 2-1 on penalties. It was similar story in the Cup Final with a 0-0 draw against The Gentleman's Club before going on to claim the title 3-1 on spot kicks.

They had begun pretty well so far in 2024 too with 2 wins from 2, 7 goals scored and 0 conceded. Their next opponents were Ruta Uno FC and, d espite Humble Goats' impressive start to the tournament, it was Ruta Uno FC who seized the early initiative. Craig Green opened the scoring for Ruta Uno FC, putting them 1-0 up and ensuring they went into halftime with a surprising lead. It was a well-earned advantage as they displayed excellent defensive organisation and sharp counter-attacking play.

However, the second half saw the defending champions Humble Goats demonstrate their resilience and quality. They came out with renewed determination, and their pressure paid off when Jeremy Freyne scored to bring the game level. Jihad L'Merrounji then found the back of the net, completing the comeback and putting Humble Goats 2-1 ahead. Their experience and composure in critical moments shone through as they managed to hold on to their lead despite Ruta Uno's efforts to equalize. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Humble Goats, maintaining their perfect record with three wins from three games. Ruta Uno FC, despite a valiant effort and a strong first half, were unable to hold off the champions' second-half surge.

The final game of Round 3 in Group A of the 2024 Amsterdam Sevens featured Riises Pieces taking on Jamaica Bell. Both teams were eager to secure a crucial win, making for a highly competitive and tightly contested match. Both teams were also competing on two fronts with teams in the Fives and the Sevens competitions.

The first half saw both teams create chances but fail to convert, resulting in a goalless draw at halftime. The defences were well-organised, and both goalkeepers were on form to keep the score level.

As the second half commenced, the intensity of the match increased, with both teams pushing forward in search of the decisive goal. The breakthrough finally came for Jamaica Bell, thanks to a strike from Ryan Turner. Turner's goal proved to be the difference-maker, giving Jamaica Bell a 1-0 lead.

Despite Riises Pieces' efforts to find an equalizer, Jamaica Bell's defence held firm, securing the victory. The final whistle confirmed a 1-0 win for Jamaica Bell, a hard-fought result that earned them three valuable points.

The win propels Jamaica Bell further up the Group A standings and into second position in the table, keeping their hopes of advancing to the Cup knockout stages very much alive. Riises Pieces, despite a strong performance, were unable to capitalize but time was still on their side as they vied for qualification to the next phase.
