Round 2 of Group B featured a clash between Mngball FC and WWK DB. The English side, Mngball FC, came into the match with a solid draw from their previous game, while WWK DB, who had impressed with a 4-0 victory in their opening match, faced a sterner test this time around.

The game was tightly contested throughout the first half, with both teams unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a 0-0 scoreline at halftime.

In the second half, WWK DB broke the deadlock with a crucial goal from Jaber Boubkiri. His strike proved to be the decisive moment of the match, securing a 1-0 victory for the Dutch side.

The win helped WWK DB maintain their strong position in the group as they lead the way with 6 points, while Mngball FC faced a setback in their quest for top spots.

Next up on Pitch 5 was Raiders Amsterdam versus Cream of the South. Last year the English team played at the 2023 Krakow Trophy (6-a-side) and began with a good result. They drew 0-0 with 2018 Krakow Trophy and 2019 Gdansk Tournament winners, Big Time Krakow. They then lost 5-1 to Turn Down For Watford, 3-1 to RAF (Por) for the second year running and 2-1 to CBT FC. Their final group game was against Mngball FC (also here today) which they lost 2-0 to finish 6 th in the table.

Today, both teams looking to recover from opening game defeats in what was going to be a vital match for Raiders Amsterdam and Cream of the South to kickstart their respective campaigns.

The match was settled with a goal in each half. Raiders Amsterdam took the lead with a goal from Adrian Ayram in the first half, giving them a 1-0 advantage at the break. In the second half, Denis Piovisischi added another goal for Raiders Amsterdam, sealing a 2-0 victory.

The win provided Raiders Amsterdam with a much-needed three points as they rose to third in the table. Conversely, Cream of the South was left to regroup following their second consecutive loss.

In the final game of Round 2, FNF on Tour faced Scoop FC in a closely contested match. FNF on Tour were fresh from opening game victory and could join WWK DB at the top with a second win on the bounce. Scoop FC had recovered from two goals down last time to earn a point and would have some momentum of their own coming into this one.

Indeed, it was Scoop FC who took the upper hand in the first half, with Joshua Bright scoring his third goal in two games to give his team a 1-0 lead at the interval. In the second period, we saw FNF on Tour respond with determination. Adewunmi Oluwo found the equalizer, leveling the score at 1-1. Despite both teams pushing for a decisive goal, the match ended in a draw. Only time would tell if this was a point gained or two points lost.

This result left FNF on Tour in second position in the table on 4 points. Scoop FC were unbeaten with 2 draws and occupied fourth position in the standings. Both teams would take unbeaten campaigns into Round 3 as they continued to battle in Group B.
