Groove
Armada versus Milstead was the next item on
the Group B menu. Group B had showed us that
all teams were capable of taking points off
each other. At this juncture, a win would send
the victor surging up the table but a defeat
would see them off the pace. In golf, the third
round is often called moving day. It is round
3 in these 6-team groups that often has the
same effect.
Groove
Armada could go within a point of top spot if
they were to win this. On the other hand a Milstead
win would mean just 4 points covering the top
5 with two rounds to go.
Despite
a slow start to the day (5-0 defeat), Groove
Armada were now well and truly in the, well,
‘groove'. A 2-1 win last time out was now followed
by a 3-0 success over fellow countrymen, Milstead.
Paul Oliver set them on their way before Ethan
McCreight and Jack Rusbridge all found the back
of the net. All men had scored their first of
the day as Groove Armada were showing they had
goals from all other the team.
