We began Round 4 with the Netherlands taking on the Netherlands as Real Sosobad met FC Kicks. FC Kicks were currently our league leaders. They were 2 points ahead of their nearest rivals and a win here would secure Cup qualification with a game to spare. Real Sosobad had troubles at the other end of the table as they battled for Plate qualification. They had a 4 point lead over their challengers but they had already collected their walkover win which the team below them had not. So, they could really do with points. It was never going to be easy against the league leaders though.

Real Sosobad got off to a great start though with Gary Gee scoring his first of the tournament. FC Kicks' Chun Wah Lam equalised to make it 1-1. Quite often when a lower ranked team scores first and the higher ranked team equalises early then the higher ranked team will go on to win and restore the natural order. However, this time Adam Ess restore the lead for Real Sosobad. It was a lead they held going into half-time.

After the break FC Kicks moved through the gears and showed why they were top of the table. Thijs van Puel equalised for 2-2 before Auke Jager put FC Kicks ahead for the first time in the game. When Jasper Kuipers made it 4-2 the momentum had fully swung in the favour of the group leaders. The icing on the cake was provided by Thijs van Puel who crowned a 5-2 win as they secured Cup qualification.

In Game 11 of Group A we had Sporting Armada versus Red Cow Belgrade. With FC Kicks securing Cup qualification already, this match would be a key battle in the race for that second Cup qualification space. A quick look at the league table showed Red Cow Belgrade currently held a 1-point lead over their opponents so a draw would keep them in the ascendency over their opponents but they would be mindful that their last game was against FC Kicks. A win for Red Cow Belgrade would guarantee Cup qualification.

From a Sporting Armada perspective, they knew a win here would also guarantee Cup qualification as their last game would be the 3-0 walkover fixture. They might also be happy with a draw here knowing that they had a guaranteed 3 points coming in Round 5 whilst their opponents had a really tough match.

We reached half-time in this one with the two teams locked together at 0-0. The second half would see the stalemate broken as Dylan Smart put Sporting Armada ahead. They never looked back after that as Harry Tampsett made it 2-0. Harry Tampsett was the second top scorer in the 2019 Lisbon Tournament with 8 goals. He took his tally to 4 goals today with his second of the game as Sporting Armada won 3-0 and moved up into second place.

To complete Round 4 we added the 3-0 walkover win for Columbia's Finest FC over NiB Catennacio.
