Cruz Del Surely made their debut at the 2012 Barcelona Fives as Banter Bus FC. They finished 2nd in their 5 team group behind Budapest Celtic Lions before going out to eventual winners Black Sheep of Spain in the Cup Quarter-Finals. In Hungary 12 months later they made a twin-pronged attack on the 2013 Budapest Fives title with two teams – BBFC1 and BBFC2. The teams finished 3rd and 5th in their respective groups meaning they had a team in the Cup and the Plate. BBFC2 picked up a 1-0 win in the Plate Quarters before a Semi-Final exit at the hands of Meglepetes – a good Hungarian side who made the Cup Semi-Finals in 2015 and won the Budapest Fives in 2016.

July 2015 saw them rebranded as Cruz Del Sur A and B and travel to Amsterdam where storm Zejko defeated all teams. The teams finished 3 rd and 4 th in their groups in hugely challenging conditions before the Code Red weather warning curtailed the day's activities. At the 2016 Riga Tournament the B team finished in fifth place of Group D with 5 points to qualify for the Trophy Quarter-Finals. They left the tournament on penalties after a 0-0 draw with One Calamski. Then came the Lisbon showing in 2017 we mentioned earlier.

The English team were taking to the Algarve Open very well. 3 wins in 3 before this match and it quickly became 4 wins out of 4 when they faced Real De Groot. Nnamdi David scored the goal thhat separated the two teams. It was 12 points, 7 goals for and David Jamieson was still to concede a goal as thhey remained defensively strong.

It was the turn of Pique Blinders to collect their 3-0 win over Huddingpool. The three points were added to their tally to give them a boost up the table.

Game 15 of Group A was RSC Andylecht versus 9 Nana Budds. Both of these teams needed the win for different reasons.

RSC Andylecht were currently in fourth position but a win would put them level with Real De Groot in third place on 7 points. It would also open up a gap with the teams below them in their quest for Cup qualification.

9 Nana Budds would be cut adrift a little if they lost this so you felt a win here was vital to stay in the mix for a potential place in the Cup.

Looking at the league table, this match went with the early morning form. Andrew Sumner scored twice to earn his team a full 3 points. Credit also to Deeps Majundar and his defence for keeping it tight at the back. Final score, 2-0.

Indoorsoccer versus Huddingpool gave us a headache. We couldn't each give them a 3-0 win against the other. So, the game was essentially null and void. We chalked it up as a loss to each team but left goal difference as it was. A purely academic exercise unfortunately.
