Into the Cup Semi-Finals and the final four teams came from four different nations.

First up was the turn of Ireland and England when Askeaton FC met FC Seagrave. Perhaps it was no surprise that the first half was goal-less between these sides as Askeaton FC had only conceded one all tournament and FC Seagrave had collected two clean sheets in a row. Credit therefore must go to the respective defences and goalkeepers in Patrick Noonan and Chris Allard. In their Quarter-Final, FC Seagrave had reached half-time at 0-0 before kicking on to win 2-0. We had a case of déjà vu in this match as first of all Antonio and then Matthew Allard scored the goals that propelled FC Seagrave into the final. Tough luck on Askeaton FC who are valued members of the eurofootballfives tour circuit and we thought that their first Cup final maybe on the cards but, alas for them, it was not to be. Congratulations to them for a great tournament and to FC Seagrave for reaching the final.

The second Semi-Final was Athletico Do Hollande versus Water Boy. What a task the Portuguese had ahead of them but they must have gone into the game in confident mood having found their winning touch again with an outstanding second half performance against Whiteley FC in their Quarter-Final. Athletico Do Hollande had hit Olhanense for six in their last game and with 9 goals between the two sides in the Quarter-Finals it was a surprise that this game was without a goal at the interval. The two teams were proving evenly matched and as the game went on Water Boy could sense a result. Athletico Do Hollande were a quality team all round and just when they really needed a goal they found one and it came from the boot of John Hanst. It was to prove the only goal of the game and they reached the final. A great effort from Water Boy although not quite enough to pull off a shock.
