After months of anticipation, the most eagerly anticipated international football tournament this June began….the 2010 Algarve Open. Did someone mention South Africa ? Surely not.

After a fantastic day of competition which saw 4 different nations make the semi-finals it was Athletico Do Hollande who triumphed in the Cup competition. England took glory in the Plate competition thanks to Vodafone FC.

There was home victory for Portuguese team Milton FC in the Wooden Spoon competition and for personal honours it was Jerrel Fraenk of Athletico Do Hollande who topped the pile with 9 goals in 7 games.
