Chingford Squires went into their next game on the back of a win whilst Milton FC were still looking for their final victory. The Portuguese came out the traps flying and in a flash were 4-1 up. Luis Silva (2), Joao Menteiro and Jose Aguiar scoring the goals to give them a commanding first half lead. Paulo Costa made it 5-1 to finish the scoring and Milton FC were now right back in this group. Tom Pearce notched again for Chingford Squires albeit in a losing cause as they now had work to do in order to make the Cup in this extremely tight table.

Water Boy of Portugal found themselves top of the Group C tree after their opening two games with successive 3-1 wins. It was another 3-1 result in their third game but this time they were on the wrong end of it as Sporting Lesbians made it two victories on the bounce. Their hero was Andrew Oxley with a hat-trick making it 5 goals in the last 2 games and he was now very much in the top ghoalscorer race.

Your Mum's Athletic were the final team searching for a Group C point. They met Milton FC in Game 8 who had just found their first win with a commanding 5-1 performance. Your Mum's Athletic had so far been a 2nd half time so if they could stay in touch in the opening period they had a chance. That target was achieved as they went into half-time level at 1-1. Dan Woods 3rd goal in 3 games for Your Mum's Athletic and Luis Silva (3 in 2 games) were the goalscorers. Your Mum's Athletic lived up to their billing as a 2 nd half team by winning their 3 rd consecutive second half 1-0 which this time led to victory. Tim West was the man with the glory of bagging their first three points of the tournament.

Sporting Lesbians went into their final game with the chance of sealing the Group C title with a draw and two successive wins behind them they were the form team. Chingford Squires had proved up and down thus far and they surprised the group leaders by scoring the opening goal of the contest via Tom Pearce's 3rd goal of the tournament. It got even better for Chingford when they doubled their lead through Daniel Costis. A win would put them on 6 points and every chance of making the Cup. Their earlier 5-1 defeat to Milton FC was hurting them now as goal difference was not in their favour. They needed to rack up the goalsto further their chances but, alas for them, they had to settle for a 2-0 victory and a fine victory it was. Sporting Lesbians remained top despite the defeat and would have to wait for the final game result to see if their 7 point tally would be enough to win the group.

The last game would be Water Boy versus Your Mum's Athletic. Your Mum's Athletic were currently in 5th but could still finish 2nd with a 2-goal win which would be an awesome comeback from two opening defeats. A draw would secure Water Boy's passage into the Cup but a win would see them crowned Group C champions so their was much to play for.

The early advantage was taken by Your Mum's Athletic. Peter Andrews put his side 1-0 up. A 4th successive 1-0 second half would see them through. It was not to be however as honours were shared in a tense second period when Matthew Totman (Your Mum's Athletic) and Ricardo Ferreira (Water Boy) both scored. Ferreira's goal was to prove the crucial one seeing them make the Cup on goal difference.

Tough luck for Your Mum's Athletic who would join Chingford Squires in the Plate. Milton FC would go through to the Wooden Spoon – also very unlucky given their 5-1 victory. Congratulations to Sporting Lesbians who took the Group C title.
