When Lozenetz City and Coverton Road met in Game 6 of Group B there was an opportunity for both teams to claim first place with a victory. Both teams entered this fixture on the back of a win so would be confident of securing a result.

With the game underway it was Bojidar Gorchev who put the Bulgarian team into the lead. It was a lead they were to double before half-time when Vencislav Georgiev scored his third of the tournament. It was not the start Coverton Road wanted and the game was to slip further away when Atanas Minev made it 3-0. Lozenetz City were now in full flow and showing all the quality that had earned them the 2009 Prague Masters and 2010 Manchester Fives titles. There was still time for Yassen Kanev and Rossen Kanev to make it 4-0 and 5-0 respectively. Lozenetz City had made it 9 points out of a possible 9 and secured their place in the elite Cup competition with a game to spare.

For Coverton Road it was a tough defeat to take but their challenge was far from over. They had one more game and one more chance to qualify for the Cup.

Chase Terrace Rangers and Longest In The Shower were next up with both teams needing a victory to advance their chances of glory. Therefore, when the teams went into half-time locked at 0-0 it was a result that, whilst better than a defeat, did not really suit either side.

Could either team muster a winning goal in the second half? Well, the answer was yes and depending upon which team you were supporting the goal was a vital or a devastating blow. For Chase Terrace Rangers it was devastating as the goal condemned them to defeat by the narrowest of margins. For Longest in The Shower it was vital as Dave Stanton's goal gave them a crucial 3 points which actually put them in joint second place (although Rollert FS had a game in hand).

That game in hand for Rollert FS was against Coverton Road. Coverton Road were defending 2nd position and Rollert FS had the chance to leapfrog their opponents in the league standings. Rollert FS came into the game on the back of a victory whereas Coverton Road had just suffered a heavy defeat and that momentum carried into this game.

Rollert FS struck first through Edwin before the previous game's hat-trick hero, Alex, made it 2-0. Edwin found the net again before Harry completed a 4-0 victory for Rollert FS. It was a great win for the Spanish who took 2nd place and had a very good chance of progressing to the Cup as long as Longest In The Shower could not beat Lozenetz City. For Coverton Road the defeat meant they were certain of qualifying for this afternoon's Plate competition.

Rollert FS must have thought they were safe in the Cup places as the only team that could stop them, Longest In The Shower, were due to play Lozenetz City. The Bulgarians had a 100% record and so were expected to claim victory here. The Spanish team must have been gutted to see Longest In The Shower take an early lead through Alberto. It was the first goal that Lozenetz City had conceded and a goal they were to have no answer to – in the opening period at least.

In the second half, Lozenetz City showed just why they were top of the table though as Rossen Kanev equalized to make it 1-1. Momentum had swung and when Bojidar Gorchev made it 2-1 Longest In The Shower were visibly deflated. It was enough for Lozenetz City to claim the Group B title with 12 points and ensure Rollert FS would join them in the Cup. Longest In The Shower would finish 3rd and take their place in the Plate.

The above result meant that the result of Game 10 was meaningless in many ways. When Chase Terrace Rangers met Rollert FS the former could only finish 5th and the latter were already guaranteed 2nd . No game is meaningless though and there is always pride at stake and once the teams crossed the white line of play both would want to claim victory.

There was not much between the two teams and although Rollert FS took a lead into half-time it was a slender advantage, 2-1. In the second period Rollert FS eased away from their opponents and completed a 4-1 victory. The main architect of the win and a strong contender for the tournament goalscorer prize was Rollert FS's number 10 and chief marksman – Alex.

The consolation goal for Chase Terrace Rangers was scored by Steve Bullock and the Wooden Spoon competition awaited them.
