As with UEFA Champions League Group games, Group B saw the teams playing in Game 3 play their reverse fixture in Game 4.

Given the close 4-4 draw in the previous meeting we were expecting this match to prove equally close but we were wrong. FC Radbroke took the second half of the previous game and they continued this momentum into this game. Mike Brandon scored his 6 th goal of the tournament along with two Pete Cox goals to give FC Radbroke a 3-0 half-time lead.

Pete Cox really had his shooting boots on in this game as he completed his hat-trick to make it 4-0. He then grabbed his fourth of the game to round off the scoring at 5-0. The result put FC Radbroke firmly in charge of Group B and secured their place in the elite Cup competition with a game to spare. Bridge House B still, potentially, had a little work to do.

FC Radbroke went into Game 5 and their final game of Group B unbeaten. Tarifa 3 were looking for their first points and an upset was on the cards at the interval when Tarifa 3 led 3-2 thanks to a fine first half hat-trick from Pau Redondo. In the second half they added to their tally through Juan Miguel Esteban but it was not quite enough as FC Radbroke turned around a first half deficit for the second time today. Three second half goals earned swept them to a 5-4 victory and guaranteed them the Group B title. They shared the goals around in this one with Mike Brandon (2), Pete Cox, Matt Nicholls and Shaun Gurney all netting for FC Radbroke.

Defeat for Tarifa 3 in their previous game meant they could do no better than third place as Bridge House B were out of their reach. By the same token, Bridge House B knew they were in 2nd place regardless so we were just playing for pride and honour.

Pride and honour should not be under-estimated and Bridge House B had it and skill in abundance and more than enough to sweep aside their Spanish opponents in this one. Despite pushing FC Radbroke close in the last game Tarifa 3 could not get as close to Bridge House B.

The game ended 6-2 to the English team with the biggest win of the group. Chris Andrews walked away with a hat-trick, there was a brace for Alex Mitchell and another tournament goal for James Harvey. For Tarifa 3, Juan Miguel Esteven scored his third of the tournament plus a goal for Julio Sanchez.
