AON
Top Guns had to sit out and watch the first two
games before getting their campaign underway.
AON Top Guns were the second team in Group A who
had a Plate success on their eurofootballfives.com
CV – their Plate victory came in the 2009 Prague
Masters.
In
their opening game Samurai Japan had seen off
another Plate winning team in Atlantic Star and
they were to repeat the feat in this fixture.
AON Top Guns, by their own admission, were suffering
from the morning after the night before and Samurai
Japan took full advantage racing into a 3-0 half-time
lead. Takumi Kushiyama added two more goals to
his personal tally to take him to 3 for the tournament
and captain Gaku Sato also weighed in. In the
second half, AON Top Guns found their form to
some extent and reduced arrears to 3-1 through
Leon Barber and that's how it finished. Samurai
Japan sat on top of Group A with a maximum 6 points.
