Group B was the unlucky group of this tournament as in the week leading up to the tournament McKenzie Stuart FC were forced to withdraw. We had re-arranged the fixtures into a 4-team group. Then, on the morning of the tournament Bar El Deseo pulled out at 10.00 just as we were about to kick-off. A frantic re-arrangement of the fixtures meant each team would play the other two teams in their group twice – effectively home and away.

The two teams to start Group B were Spanish team Tarifa 3 and FC Radbroke of England . FC Radbroke made an impressive debut in eurofootballfives.com action back in the 2009 Barca Fives when they went out in the Quarter-Finals to two times eurofootballfives winners, Lozenetz City of Bulgaria . FC Radbroke started well here as they held a 2-1 half-time advantage in this opening game. The second half saw a repeat of this scoreline and a 4-2 victory. There was a Michael Brandon hat-trick that saw them on their way to victory along with a Shaun Gurney strike. Julio Sanchez and Juan Miguel Esteven scoring what proved to be consolation goals for Tarifa 3.

Tarifa B were back in action Game 2 of Group B and had the immediate chance to put opening game defeat behind them when they came up against Bridge House B. Bridge House B were starting cold whereas Tarifa B had already had a game to warm up. That didn't seem to effect Bridge House B in any way as Alex Mitchell and Chris Girdlestone gave them a 2-0 half-time lead.

Juanjo Isach scored for Tarifa 3 in the second period but yet again the Spanish team's goals were consolations only as Bridge House B safely held on to their lead and with a third goal from James Harvey completed a 3-1 victory. Bridge House B joined FC Radbroke on 3 points and sat in 2nd on goals scored.

Game 3 would see the two table-toppers come face to face and victory here would mean the victors would have control of Group B. Bridge House B took the momentum from Game 2 into this game and opened up a 3-1 lead at the break.

FC Radbroke were not going to let this game go though and put in a great second half performance. They took the second half 3-1 to earn a 4-4 draw. The draw put both teams on 4 points and firm favourites to make the Cup. However, if Tarifa 3 could conjure up a win they would just be a point behind these two and there would be all to play for.

FC Radbroke had Mike Brandon and Mark Watkins to thank for their goals with two each. Alex Mitchell of Bridge House B also scored twice for Bridge House B along with goals from Chris Andrews and Chris Girdlestone. Group B was shaping up nicely.
