The 2010 Prague Trophy was played in a morning phase of two qualifying groups. The top 3 teams in Group A and the top 2 teams in Group B would progress to the Cup Group. In the Cup Group the 5 qualifying teams would play each other once to earn the right to be the 2010 Prague Trophy champions.

The teams finishing in the last two places of each qualifying group would progress to the Plate group where the teams would each play one another in order to lift the Plate Trophy.
