Group
B kicked off with Czech team JNJ Global Services
taking on English team Arrows. Arrows had taken
a long drive from England to compete in Prague
and they made the drive worthwhile when John Gilham
fired his side into a 1-0 half-time lead. Arrows,
who were Cup quarter-finalists at the 2009 Barca
Fives (having been knocked out by 2-time eurofootballfives.com
winners Goldsmith Williams), were showing the
early form that could see them progress further
this time round.
John
Gilham added a second and Joe Heath also got on
the scoresheet as they completed a 3-1 victory.
Josef Salatek scored the goal for JNJ Global Services
who have a record of making Plate Semi-Finals
in our tournaments – they had two games left to
see if they could maybe make the Cup competition
this time around. |
