The
final game of Group B was Arrows versus DHL Prague
Red. A DHL Red victory would put them, Arrows
and Deportivo all on 6 points meaning one team
would miss out on the Cup on goal difference.
The way Arrows started in this game though that
particular outcome was not looking too likely.
Growing
in strength, game by game, Arrows raced to a 4-1
half-time lead. By the end of the game the margin
of victory was 6-1 – the biggest of the group.
Martin Rehacek's goal for the Czech's was only
a consolation as Arrow's Joe Heath bagged a hat-trick,
there were two more goals for John Gilham and
also one for Jordan Park.
The
win made it a 100% record for Arrows and they
would go into the Cup Group full of confidence.
DHL Prague would go into the Plate group and what
odds would you give for them picking up further
medals in that competition? |
