Round 5 and the final games in Group B. At this stage we like to sit back, take stock and see what's up for grabs as the teams enter the final straight. So, who needed to do what?

Atlantic Star (Eng): Group B winners whatever their final result.

Dogshead FC (Eng): Given the pending walkover for the Rigford Seahawks for the Latinos they would have to win to make the Cup.

Rigford Seahawks (Eng): Hope SK Zelenec could pull off a victory against Dogshead FC to make the Cup.

SK Zelenec (Cze): Beat Dogshead FC by 6 goals to make the Cup OR lose by less than DHL Prague Blue to make the Plate. A draw would be good enough if DHL Prague Blue lost.

DHL Prague Blue (Cze): Would need to better SK Zelenec's result to make the Plate. If both teams lost or won they would need to improve their goal difference by 2 goals to make the Plate.

Leos Latinos (Cze): Out.

First of all let's get the walkover game out of the way for Rigford Seahawks as they collected the 3 points for the Leos Latinos fixture. They were now having to watch and wait for the Dogshead FC result to come in.

Last time they needed a Dogshead FC defeat Atlantic Star obliged in dramatic style. Just as they had done so against Atlantic Star, Dogshead FC started well and gave them a great chance by earning themselves a 2-0 half-time in lead thanks to John Ashwell and Daniel House. There was to be no comeback for SK Zelenec though as Dogshead FC went to town in the second half. Luke Brammer and Adam Denovan both added second half doubles and it was left to Daniel House to complete the scoring with his fourth of the tournament to complete a stunning 7-0 win.

Dogshead FC would claim their place in the Cup semi-finals while Rigford Seahawks chance of a second eurofootballfives.com tournament win was over for this weekend as they would compete in the afternoon's Plate competition.

The result also meant that SK Zelenec would slip below DHL Prague on goal difference into 5 th place and out of the tournament. But wait….there was a sting in the tail as DHL Prague Blue were forced to withdraw from the competition due to injuries. Much against their wishes they could just not field a full line-up. Atlantic Star picked up 3 walkover points although this was purely academic. What it did mean though was that SK Zelenec leapfrogged DHL Prague Blue into fourth and would take their place in the Plate semi-final.
