The
above result meant that Kehar Club and Wafty
Crankers were in a straight shoot-out for 3rd
place and a chance to make it through to the
Cup. A draw would see the two teams finish on
7 points but Wafty Crankers claim third position
on goal difference.
The
onus was therefore on Kehar Club to attack and
it was a task they took on with great conviction.
Martin Drazan opened the scoring and all of
a sudden the balance of power had shifted. It
was now the Wafty Crankers who needed to score
but they fell further behind to a Josef Rakosnik
goal.
The
teams kicked off the second half at 2-0 and
Wafty Crankers needed to find two goals but
inevitably as they pushed forward they would
leave gaps at the back and Kehar Club took full
advantage when Martin Drazan made it 3-0 and
Petr Kaminski made it 4-0 to complete the scoring
and a fine victory. Kehar Club had claimed 3rd
place.
Due
to It's Back being held 3-3 by AC Lesk in Group
A, the result meant that Kehar Club would indeed
play their knock-out football in the Cup competition.
The
only thing left to wrap up was Fridays 3 points
for the walkover versus Slow & Old United
which saw them jump above Wafty Crankers into
fourth with the latter in 5th.
