Game 7 of Group B was an important fixture for both Dark Horses and Norton Old Boys. Dark Horses, 2010 Amsterdam Fives Plate Champions, were surprisingly yet to get off the mark and found themselves at the foot of the table. Norton Old Boys had just suffered a disheartening last minute defeat so would need to bounce back quickly.

If Dark Horses had been slow to start so far they would not make the same mistake in their third fixture. They flew out of the traps, got ahead early, built on the lead and in the end ran away with the game. Norton Old Boys must have wondered what had happened – they were highly competitive in their opening two games but in this one had no answer to the Dark Horses.

Richard Walker was the main architect of the victory as the 2010 Amsterdam Fives top goalscorer bagged a mighty four goals. He was ably assisted by Chris Bunclark who scored twice and there was a consolation goal for Norton Old Boy's Mike Baber Dark Horses had their first goals and first points of the tournament with a resounding 6-1 win.

The top team was in action next as CIS of the Belarus took on Zizkov Drunks who had slipped to 6th place with the Dark Horses win above. Could they emulate the Dark Horses and climb off the foot of Group B. It didn't look likely when Valery Ivashka put the league leaders 1-0 up. It was not long before Pavel Tomash doubled the lead to 2-0 and added another to make it 3-0 before the break.

It looked certain that CIS were going to strengthen their grip on 1st place in Group B. There was a recovery from Zizkov Drunks in the second period but it was a little too late and CIS always looked like they could move up a gear if they needed to. Goals from Paler and Oybek Mamadaliev reduced the arrears but Ivashka's second of the game made the final score 4-2.

To complete Round 3 we had Saipan FC of Ireland versus FC Xaverov of the Czech Republic to look forward to. FC Xaverov so far had a 100% record and were yet to concede so it would not be easy for Saipan FC. That's the way it proved to as FC Xaverov scored twice in each half without reply to wrap up a 4-0 victory.

Petr Dvorak and Jan Dvoracek got FC Xaverov up and running with the goals in the first period before Michal Starst Predikant put the icing on the cake with a second half double. It was impressive stuff for the Czech side as Radek Martinek kept his third consecutive clean sheet. The result meant they kept pace with CIS at the top of Group B and claimed first place due to their superior goal difference.

Saipan FC were in 4th place but one of three teams on three points in mid-table so there was plenty to play for with two games to go.
