It's Back began Round 3 against FC Dad with both teams looking for a first win of the day. The teams sat in 6th and 5th place respectively so a win here would give them a timely push up the table.

Following two defeats it was It's Back who took the early initiative through Charlie Court and George Bowman. It was not a one-side affair though as Stuart Leslie's goal for FC Dad meant it was 2-1 at half-time.

With the game delicately poised the fourth goal of the game was always going to be crucial. Could FC Dad bag an equalizer or could It's Back open up a two goal cushion which would almost certainly be decisive. If you're an It's Back supporter you would be delighted to hear it was the latter as Pete Malone's goal sealed victory. It was a great win for It's Back that saw them climb from 6th to 3rd and with two game to go they were in a position to fight for Cup qualification.

FC Dad remained in 5th place on 1 point with games beginning to run out in the group phase.

Top of the table GBS Reds were next in action against AC Lesk. The Czech team were looking to maintain their 100% record against a team with a draw and a narrow defeat. If AC Lesk could find a victory they would go third and the group would tighten up considerably.

For AC Lesk to get that victory they would need to come from behind as they found themselves 2-1 behind at the break for the second game in a row. A comeback was not on the cards though as GBS Reds grabbed the bull by the horns and ran in three second half goals to emphatically put this match beyond the reach of AC Lesk.

GBS Reds were flying on top of Group A with a maximum 9 points and a very healthy goal difference. Their goalscorers in this one were Martin Kolmhofer (2), Wilco Veldhuizen, Vincent Solem and Achile Anague. Manvir Sandher got himself on the scoresheet for AC Lesk but sadly for them it was a mere consolation.

To complete Round 3 was Team Also-Ran versus Deportivo. The Irish team had just picked up their first victory and would no doubt want to make it two out of two and get some momentum going. Deportivo were not the ideal opposition for this task who themselves were looking for a victory to go joint top again with GBS Reds.

Deportivo started in rampant style and surged into a 3-0 lead by half-time thanks to two goals from Jesus Castillo and a strike from Andi Guadalupe. Things did improve for Team Also-Ran in the second period when they reduced arrears to 3-1 with Shane Murphy's fourth goal of the day. Time was against Team Also-Ran though and there was to be no further scoring. Deportivo jointed GBS Reds on 9 points, Team Also-Ran were down a place in 4th.
