Athletico Chorlton had played well and could consider themselves unlucky to just have two draws and two points to show for their efforts. They came up against FC Biermeisters who could sniff Cup qualification. They needed to win and hope UMGA FC did not beat Lozenetz City and overturn the goal difference in the process. They could not worry about that and just had to focus on securing the 3 points necessary. When they needed a man to stand up and be counted they had it in the form of Rob Eatough who bagged a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory. All eyes were now on UMGA FC.

 
 
 

If UMGA FC could choose who they wanted to play in their final game needing a win we are sure they would not have picked Lozenetz City . Having said that, Lozenetz City were already Group B champions so may subconsciously take the foot off the gas and be there for the taking. There was to be no relaxation for the Bulgarians and in fact they moved up another gear. They hit UMGA FC for (not so lucky) 7. The goals came from Stoian Nenkov, Alexander Kyulev, Bojidar Gorchev (2), Iasen Kanev (2) and Vencislav Georgiev. Lozenetz City finished Group B with a hugely impressive tally of 15 points, scoring 15 goals and without conceding. UMGA FC whilst no doubt distraught would qualify for the Plate.

 
 
 

Game 15 of Group B was a winner takes all encounter between Atlantic Star 2nd and Lads on Tour FC. Whoever won this game would qualify for the Plate – the losers would go out. A draw would work out for Atlantic Star due to their superior goal difference. Dan Ellis opened the scoring for Atlantic Star which handed them the initiative and whilst Lads on Tour fought back they could never quite forge ahead and grab the win they needed. There were another two goals for Alex Thomas who could be proud of his return of 5 goals in 5 games. Mark Brereton and Aaron Conneran each scored their 2nd goals of the day to get Atlantic Star 2 nd over the finishing line and the 3-2 win ensured they finished 3rd .
