Into the second round of Group B games and it was Lads on Tour who met Athletico Chorlton. Both teams had suffered opening game defeats and were looking for a win to kickstart their respective campaigns. In the game both teams broke their goalscoring ducks as Alex Thomas scored twice for Lads on Tour. His goals were matched by strikes from Jonathon McCauley and Wayne Moven for Athletico Chorlton. The final score was 2-2 and the teams now each had a point on the board to build on.

 
 
 

Atlantic Star 2nd also tasted opening game defeat but against strong opposition this should not dent their confidence as many good teams have come unstuck against Lozenetz City . They played UMGA FC who had enjoyed a first game victory. It was not to be two wins out of two though as Atlantic Star earned a 2-1 win following goals from Aaron Conneran and Mark Brereton. John MacGlashan scored for UMGA FC in a losing cause. Both teams were now on 3 points and occupied the mid-table positions in what was developing into a tight group.

 
 
 

Next up was the table-topping encounter between Lozenentz City and FC Biermeisters with 3 points already on the board. A second successive win would put the victors in a very strong position at the top of Group B. In the end it was Lozenetz City who ground out the result and after two close games they showed why they won in Prague by digging out two 1-0 wins to lead the chasing pack. Tsoni Petrov was the man to find the net on this occasion. FC Biermeisters consolidation was they remained in the Cup places, in 2nd , but with this tough fixture out of the way.
