Into Round 4 of Group B and things were really hotting up. As the games progressed it was increasingly becoming do or die for most teams. Athletico Chorlton were 4 points off 2nd with 6 points to potentially available. In order to win the Manchester Fives they had to win now. Their opponents – Lozenetz City . Lozenetz City had a 100% record which they would maintain once the referee blew the final whistle to end this particular game. Bojidar Gorchev opened the scoring for the Bulgarians before Alexander Kyulev made it 2-0 and then Gorchev scored again for 3-0. The result ensured Lozenetz City would play in the Cup and qualified with one game to spare.

 
 
 

2nd placed team UMGA FC then took on Lads on Tour. A win here for UMGA FC would make them favourites to join Lozenetz in the Cup semi-final line-up. Lads on Tour were looking for a first win to put them right back in the mix. Based on group placings so far we witnessed a surprise score of UMGA FC 1-2 Lads on Tour. Andrew Templeman scored again for UMGA FC but it was not to earn the points this time thanks to the goals of Alex and Andy Thomas. The result meant Cup qualification was still possible for them and certainly helped their cause to reach at least the Plate. UMGA's defeat also meant Lozenetz City were guaranteed Group B champions.

 
 
 

Atlantic Star were on a run of 4 points in 6 playing against FC Biermeisters who were now without a point over the same period. This group had already shown the form book was meaningless and so it proved in this game. A tired and jaded looking Atlantic Star could not match their opponents as Martin Hunt's strike gave FC Biermeisters a 1-0 win. The 3 points were a massive boost to the Biermeisters who jumped from 4th into 2nd . The defeat was a big disappointment to Atlantic Star who could have gone 2nd themselves with a win here.
